Terms of service
1 · Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using StopLyte (“StopLyte,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”).
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the platform.
2 · What StopLyte is (and is not)
StopLyte is a technology platform that provides tools, signals, and insights to help users explore real estate opportunities and optionally connect with others.
StopLyte is not:
- A real estate broker, agent, or fiduciary
- A listing service or Multiple Listing Service (MLS)
- A party to any real estate transaction
StopLyte does not represent buyers or sellers and does not guarantee that any property is available for sale.
3 · Signals & predictive insights
StopLyte displays signals (e.g. Not selling, Open to the right offer, Ready for the right buyer) and may provide predictive insights.
You understand and agree:
- Signals are user-controlled or estimated indicators, not guarantees
- Predictive insights are estimates based on data and patterns
- A property's status may change at any time
- StopLyte does not guarantee availability, willingness to sell, or transaction outcomes
You are responsible for independently verifying any property information.
4 · User accounts
To access certain features, you may be required to provide your email or create an account.
You agree to:
- Provide accurate information
- Maintain the security of your account
- Be responsible for activity under your account
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
If you are a licensed real estate agent representing buyers, you must identify yourself as an agent when you create your account. Misrepresenting your agent status — including posing as a non-agent — violates these Terms and is grounds for removal.
5 · Buyer Signals & communication
StopLyte allows users to express interest in properties through features such as Buyer Signals and messaging tools.
You understand:
- Buyer Signals may notify homeowners of general interest
- You remain private unless you choose to connect
- Homeowners are not obligated to respond
- StopLyte does not guarantee any response or interaction
6 · Paid features (“Honks”)
StopLyte may offer paid features, including but not limited to “Honks,” which allow users to express interest in a property.
By purchasing or using a paid feature:
- You agree that payments are processed by a third-party provider (e.g. Stripe)
- You understand that StopLyte does not guarantee a response from any homeowner
- You acknowledge that the value of the feature is in signal delivery, not outcome
7 · Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use StopLyte for spam, harassment, or unsolicited outreach
- Attempt to identify or contact users outside the platform without consent
- Misuse signals or data
- Interfere with or disrupt the platform
- Use automated scraping, bots, or data extraction tools
We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access for misuse.
8 · No guarantees
StopLyte provides information and tools “as is.”
We do not guarantee:
- Accuracy of signals or data
- Availability of properties
- Responses from homeowners
- Successful transactions
Your use of StopLyte is at your own risk.
9 · Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, StopLyte shall not be liable for any:
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Losses related to real estate decisions or transactions
- Reliance on signals, insights, or information provided
10 · Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless StopLyte from any claims, damages, or disputes arising from:
- Your use of the platform
- Your interactions with other users
- Your violation of these Terms
11 · Data & privacy
Your use of StopLyte is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

14 · Governing law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to conflict of law principles.
